Kerry is a consulting Psychologist, Trauma-Informed Yoga Teacher and the Director of the practice at Be You Psychology & Counselling located in Malvern East.

She holds general registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is also registered with Medicare. She is a Member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPi).

Work experience:

Kerry has 10 years of experience working in mental health. She has broad and extensive experience working with a variety of different client populations in a variety of different settings.

Kerry now works as a private practice psychologist in Malvern East, Melbourne. Kerry was previously working in private practice settings in Camberwell and the south east and inner east for many years. Prior to working in private practice, Kerry worked as a Mental Health Clinician at headspace, the National Youth Mental Health Foundation, at Frontyard Youth Services (Melbourne Citymission) and as a School Psychologist. In the past, she has also volunteered for a number of telephone counselling services, including Reconnexion and Lifeline.

All registered psychologists are required to engage in continuing professional development and education. Kerry regularly attends professional development workshops and seminars to ensure that she stays up to date with current evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Kerry also attends regular individual supervision and group peer supervision with her colleagues to gain peer consultation and build on her counselling skills.

Language and Culture: 

Kerry speaks, writes and comprehends Greek at a basic to fluent level and has a thorough understanding of the Greek culture. Kerry is not currently offering Greek-speaking counselling sessions.

Who is Kerry when she doesn’t have her work hat on?

Outside of her work, Kerry is also a mother, wife, daughter, sister and aunty. In her spare time she enjoys writing, spending time in nature, going for walks, practicing yoga and meditation, reading books, creating art and spending quality time with her friends and family.
