Be You Psychology & Counselling is a growing private practice located in Camberwell, Victoria.

The successful applicant will have:

-A warm, friendly, confident and supportive approach to working with clients.

-A strong focus on the client-therapist relationship

-Demonstrated ability to conduct risk-assessments with clients when appropriate.

-Training in a range of different evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

-Demonstrated ability to formulate a collaborative treatment plan with clients.

-Demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously.

-Experience working with a range of different client presentations and support issues.

-Ability to keep accurate and timely client case notes.

-Excellent written communication skills and demonstrated ability to complete written reports (e.g., Medicare GP letters, Support Letters and Psychological Reports)

-Time-management and organisational skills, with a commitment to timely reporting to referrers.

-General registration as a psychologist with AHPRA.

-Currently have, or willing and eligible to obtain an ABN, Professional indemnity Insurance and Medicare Provider Number.

-A willingness to take client payments and use practice management software.

Desirable:

-Prior work experience in a private practice setting.

-Experience working with children, families and/or couples

What we will offer you:

 -We will manage the practice, including all administrative duties (phone calls, emails, client reminders, new client intakes and managing the calendar).

-Access to the clinic resources

-A well-established and consistent referral base.

-A clean, spacious and comfortable counselling room (including wifi, heating/cooling, kitchenette and staff bathroom) located near the Camberwell Junction with ample parking and cafeterias in close proximity.

-Peer consultation, mentoring and support as required
