Sarah is a registered psychologist in camberwell. She holds general registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is also registered with Medicare. Sarah is also a member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS).
Sarah has been involved in mental health for the past 8 years. She has facilitated parenting groups and run social skills programs for young people on the Autism Spectrum. She has experience working with children and adolescents, as well as counselling adults. Sarah has worked with clients in a variety of settings, including private practice, residential aged care, and the disability sector. Sarah also has experience delivering psychoeducational assessments and neurodevelopmental diagnostic assessments.
Prior to becoming a psychologist Sarah had a career in the performing arts as a director and university lecturer. Sarah strives to engender a collaborative ethos and a warm, creative approach when she works with clients during their journey towards authentic, positive change in their lives.

Sarah offers counselling services to clients of all ages, and currently sees children, adolescents, and adults. She has a passion for helping people gain greater self-understanding and create useful strategies to manage difficulties with life problems such as:

Sarah has training and experience in the delivery of evidence-based counselling interventions and treatments. These include, but are not limited to, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, Mindfulness and Relaxation Practices, as well as Play Therapy and Social Skills development (for younger clients).

At the heart of Sarah’s counselling approach, is her desire to create a judgement-free space where clients feel understood, empowered, and accepted for who they are. From this place she works with clients to safely explore and reflect upon the challenging aspects of their lives and develop practical and meaningful ways to create greater well-being and resilience.
As a registered psychologist, Sarah engages in regular, ongoing professional development and education. Sarah attends training workshops, seminars, and conferences specialising in counselling approaches and educational/developmental psychology. Sarah also attends individual, group, and peer supervision to enhance and develop her professional practice and contribute to the broader psychology community.
